In Lahore, McDonald's Pakistan has contributed Rs10 million to support the people of Palestine who have been impacted by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza following the Israeli bombardment. This generous donation was made through the Edhi Foundation.

In a statement, the fast-food chain expressed its hope that these funds will provide much-needed support to ongoing relief efforts and bring comfort to those affected by the crisis.

The statement further underlined McDonald's Pakistan's unwavering commitment to its Pakistani identity, emphasizing that it is a wholly Pakistani entity owned and managed by SIZA Foods (Pvt.) Ltd. The company strongly rejected any claims challenging its Pakistani roots and reiterated its dedication to the nation and its people.

McDonald's Pakistan also expressed solidarity with those affected by the crisis, maintaining a hopeful outlook for a peaceful and resilient future.

Previously, the company had clarified its separation from McDonald's operations in Israel, highlighting that McDonald's in Israel functions independently, making its own business and communications decisions unrelated to the business in Pakistan. The statement emphasized that McDonald's Pakistan does not engage in any form of political involvement and remains focused on providing the beloved McDonald's experience that customers know and trust.
